SuperbGreece could expand to cover many more countries.
That’s really what we should do after our visit to WTM, otherwise known as the World Travel Market in London recently. (And, after so many SuperbGreece customers have begged us to offer them the same service, for Italy, Spain and anywhere they happen to be traveling to.)
WTM is an annual confab and show for those in the travel biz – from what we saw and yes it was helpful, there is, much room for great creativity and imagination in the travel business – there are but few who are “new”. So it really suggests the totally “new” methods of doing business with the unique honesty and bountiful helpfulness of SuperbGreece – started in fact, new, some 5 years ago!. We are thinking, we are planning and who knows where we will go next!
The show took place at the massive London Excel centre way out east on the ever expanding London river scene. As we booked late we found ourselves staying in a hotel within a few steps of the entrance of the show, one with rooms in which it would have been impossible to take more than two steps. So small were the rooms, a modular glass fibre bathroom unit, WC unit and separate wash basin appear to have been installed on a plug-in basis, giving rooms the feel of a low-price cruise ship or ferry. Very functional however, and you can’t beat the price (for London anyway).
So will there be a Superb Italy next….? Perhaps Spain..? Only the future will tell.
New Natural History Museum in Heraklion Rocks !
Rock, roll and vibrate!
At the new Heraklion Natural History Museum (on the seafront) an earthquake simulator both thrills and educates about the actual experience and what best to do during an earthquake (great for “Adults and Kids”!).
Displays of wildlife are superbly designed and quite well explained.
Apart from the quaking experience, there is splendid children’s area on the lower floor (that’s where I had most fun, those caves and things!).
About 1 kilometre west of the Marina and the bottom of 25th August Street (20 minute walk).
Open daily.
Don’t ask about the price..it’s very affordable.
