In the travel industry there are terms or acronyms for oh so many things. FIT, PAX and more – all can be and are better avoided. Individual travelers and number of people sound far better and are more easily understood. There is little time saved in using these clunky monikers and they turn valued guests, customers into a statistical marketing component that is unfriendly, bad thinking and against the spirit of good business relations.

So for the New year let us speak with our customers and guests, let’s talk of 5 people (not 5 PAX) and let’s “get real” and… enjoy the process of our business so much more as a result.
