Such a pleasure the 4th of July
The USA.
Every year the value of Independence Day grows.
What it means today is freedom – that is my opinion and an important concept.
America the beautiful – stay that way. You shine like a beacon in a world too often drifting towards the greyness of twilight and on occasion, the desperate darkness of night.
Think daily in the year ahead, how to cultivate (yes, still), how to maintain the free and enterprise-favouring culture that has created the country everyone wants to visit, many want to move to and most (even if they jealously refuse to admit it) admire and aspire to emulate.
Be free, be indepedent, Live long and prosper.
Happy Independence Day, The Fourth of July.
Best wishes on Indepence day – July 4th .
Remember freedom for the individual is an essential foundation of a great country, a great society and for the triumph of intelligence and creativity over ignorance. A cause worth fighting for.
The enjoyment of travel is one of many freedoms worthy of a man or woman’s time and expenditure.
We are delighted to help those choosing the great rewards that travel can bring. Not to forget enormous pleasure and rejuvenation.
Mutliple thoughts from Crete
Happy July and for those in the American lands – an advance Independence day greeting from us!
July has started its fabulous month with 30 degree temperatures (a bit above normal and soon we expect, to cool a little) – it’s breezy and hot, just wonderful.
The job described as a “New York Job In Crete” is waiting a suitable candidate http://www.cretetravel.com/Wanted/Careers_Cretetravel.htm …. ANEK are providing daytime sailings between Pireas (Athens) and Chania in Crete on most dates in July and August, these are additional to overnight runs already scheduled and offer free car passage to those booking a return (round-trip)….three companies are plying the Heraklion to Santorini route this Summer, so it’s easier to get from there to Crete…..the USA July issue of Conde Nast Traveler has a story about a trip in Crete all of which was planned and designed, by http://www.CreteHotelsRooms.com (part of the CreteTravel.com group) for and with the author.
