Labor Day weekend is one of the great times of the year to plan Fall Travel and to be steps ahead of the crowd for 2009 !

First day of May – now is a fine time to be in Crete – yes there are spring showers today and there is a background roar of thunder as I write, but wildflowers are blooming with abandon and it’s a good time to breath deeply of the fine fresh air that nourishes the island.

First day of May – it is also labour day in Europe – so in Greece you can eat in restaurants, sip coffees in cafes and bite into dainty pastries, but you cannot shop!
