Thank you – Thanksgiving – Think of Greece !
Happy Thanksgiving. Make it better and enjoy it, help the others enjoy it too!
Apart from being with the people you enjoy, support and treasure…it will be a great time to plan your trip to Greece in 2009.
-A stronger dollar (hope it holds! )
-Better flight prices
-The knowledge you’ll make the perfect choices (if you visit SuperbGreece.com!! )
-We are in Greece and yet we are celebrating thanksgiving here, with you, for you about you.
-If you can – well, why not?
Best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate. Whether it is with a Turkey for dinner, a family group or a bunch of good friends or welcome acquaintances – enjoy it and value all that is honest, cheerful and positive.
Do take time to discuss ideas than can improve your lives and the lives of others in a truly productive viable way – the ways that work.
We lost two major figures who had firm beliefs in the freedoms that should be accorded to not only individuals, but self-decided-upon groups such as families, fine friends and chosen associates – during the last month. Both Milton Friedman (Turkey for Thanksgiving – USA) and Lord Harris (Turkey for Christmas – UK) championed one of the most important bases for freedom, economics. The basis upon which most long-lasting realities and realistic progress must start from or embrace. Many thanks to both of them for their enormous and lasting contributions to the world and the hundreds of millions of lives improved, directly or indirectly, by their works.
We hope that those who travel or stay home this thanksgiving will think of all those sitting down to a meal or standing to offer a toast on this special day, in other lands than the one the world – willingly or unwillingly – relied upon quite heavily to light and bear the torch for a vital aspect of life upon this plant. Freedom to choose.
Be honest and seek the truth in all things, live, learn and prosper – Happy thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving around the world
Greetings to all in the land of the free, the good and the bold – Happy Thanksgiving America. We thank you at this time, for what you give to those within and outside your own fair lands. From New Hampshire to Arizona, from Minnesota to South Dakota, from Honolulu to the San Diego zoo – enjoy the holiday and come visit us next year!
The guy across the field, over the road and…well before the White Mountains of Crete turn erstwhile walkers into true climbers, has turkeys in his yard. Alas it is a bit late on Turkey Day to go and bargain, prepare, cook (my special recipe for stuffing means that it takes about 5 hours to make) for hours and find the cranberry sauce.
But we’ll pretend with some of the finest lamb the world can offer or oh-so-naturally grilled (and naturally reared) chicken and swallow a shot of Raki – saluting our friends, guests, pals and living beings in the good ol’ USA. Happy day folks.
