"Like me" shouts Arcolios Epavlis.
This is quite sure, we like the dramatic sea views, the private pool, the olive groves surround the villa, the small pebble beach 35m away and we are quite sure you will enjoy a splendid holiday staying here.
Arcolios Epavlis is a unique two level industrial style villa of 160m2, 3 bedrooms (6-8 People) built in stone and surrounded by plenty of olive trees wtih its own pebble beach.
Nothing is more characteristic of Crete than the millions of olive trees that grow in valleys and mountainous areas. Cretans have been cultivating the olive tree and have been using olive oil since 3500 BC during the early Minoan period, as archeological findings have proved.
The stone and earthy colours interiors combine simple elegance and beautiful design with comfort and coziness. The spacious Villa overlooks the beautiful Souda Bay, offers stunning sea views and is just a 35 meter distance from the pebble beach (no umbrellas).
Chania city center is only 20 min driver. So close but so far away. A unique choice for your family or your friends.
The Legend of twelve princes that based on actual historical facts indicates that in the 10th and 11th century , twelve men descendants of classy Byzantine families settled in Crete. They have been sent from the Byzantine Istanbul and their purpose was the administration of the island by dividing it into twelve parts .
So as the legend says but also the history, one of them the prince Archoleos Thomas or any of his sons enchanted by the beauty of the area from the natural sources and crystal waters from the fertile soil but also the endless view as the horizon of the sea. So he settled with his family in this place .
The polite Archoleos was kindhearted and very friendly with the local Cretans who loved him and visited him often saying "We are going to Archoleos". Later on corruption became "Arcoleontos" and finally as today "Arcolios" .
