This is a perfect introduction on the culinary culture of Crete and Greece, in order to discover the street food culture of Chania's town and participate in a cooking workshop preparing traditional regional dishes all in one go!

Start your day in the city of Chania and finish with a lovely dinner under the olive trees at the farm.

You will meet up with our cooking instructor and visit the central market in Chania where you will get introduced Crete’s signature products walking around the market stalls. You will shop for some of the ingredients that you will later use during the workshop. Our instructor will talk you through the basics of Greek Gastronomy and the local cuisine and you will end your visit with a stop in one of the oldest establishments in Chania, to try a local delicacy that will keep you full and happy for a while!

Later in the day we will be meeting at the farm – a 30 minute drive from the city of Chania for a cooking workshop. A hand’s on cooking experience among the olive trees. You will collect some of the ingredients from the garden and prepare everything from scratch while nibbling on local delicacies and enjoying some wine. Your efforts will be rewarded with a delicious meal, a wonderful authentic Greek dinner. By the end of the day you will have grasped the true essence of Greek gastronomy

Transfers to and from the Olive Farm. Upon request we can arrange the transfer.
