Winter is a great time to go out and make some great images.
One of the best things about winter in Crete is that you are more often than not, alone in lovely Cretan nature, mountains, plateaus, etc.
It takes that much extra to layer up and get out to take photographs when the weather is murderous and all you want to do is have a cup of Cretan mountain tea with Thymian honey and eat some more.
But the reward is grand and the taste of Cretan tea with some Thymian honey is much better after being outside for a couple of hours during these cold winter days.
Small delights of our life but so important, especially during this challenging period.
