Kalimera Crete Travellers,

Well, for sure one of the things Covid 19 deprived us off in 2020 was to hold hands when dancing.

We are here to help you - optimistic for 2021

Kalimera dear Crete Traveller,

I hope you are fine and enjoy a relaxing, wonderful Sunday.

Over the last year, so many of us have been separated from loved ones. Grandparents have had to forgo seeing their grandchildren, and families and friends have been unable to come together to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other milestone moments.

Frescoes at Agia Marina Church in Ravdoucha Village

Frescoes at Agia Marina Church in Ravdoucha Village

Visit the Byzantine church of Agia Marina (the church indicated on your way to the beach) nearby Ravdoucha Village, Chania, Crete.

Here you will find well-preserved frescoes of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and some other saints. Of the image of the face of Jesus sadly just half has survived, but Mary and some other saints have stood the test of time better and you could recognize them. The church is very small but definitely worth a look.
