Well we are now home in not so sunny, wet & cool UK!
Thank you again for all the arrangements made for our lovely holiday in Crete. As last time, everything went very smoothly, although the weather was a bit hotter than we would have liked!! I think, on balance, we preferred Crete in the spring, with the wild flowers and snow on the mountains, but we still enjoyed visiting your island and seeing some new places.
Our favourite place to stay was Abelos - a beautiful retreat, so peaceful and everyone in Roustika was so friendly and generous.
The accommodation at Samonas was excellent - Konstantinos has put so much of himself into renovating the properties and the flowers and views were splendid.
The old town of Rethymnon is lovely, but I think we preferred Chania last year - difficult to beat that view from our enormous terrace at The Belmondo! The Veneto was fine, but noisy as they had a wedding party one night in the courtyard below our windows.
Anyway, thank you again.
