Kalispera Crete Traveler,
I hope my email finds you safe and healthy.
So proud of our good, trusted partner Klotho.
For summer 21 their print was inspired by Cretan hand embroidery of 16th-17th century featuring snakes, flowers, peacocks, goats.
Embroidered on ivory canvas with gold threads this is the kind of folk embroidery that we turned into a fresh, colourful print for our dresses, Hand illustrated exclusively for KLOTHO by artist and illustrator Zeta Papadopoulou.
According to Crete's folk culture the snake stands for regenaration, the peacock is a symbol of fortune and abundance, the flowers stand for love and beauty, the goat is a symbol of pride and independence.
So discover Klotho's collection and find the hidden symbolisms!
