AEGEAN, a member of Star Alliance, has won the award for Best Regional Airline in Europe for the sixth consecutive year at the 2016 Skytrax World Airline Awards held on Tuesday at the Farnborough International Airshow in the United Kingdom.

The Skytrax World Airline Awards are widely known as the Passengers Choice Awards with people of more than 104 different nationalities participating in passenger satisfaction surveys covering over 280 airlines. 

The customer surveys ran from August 2015 until May 2016 and measured quality standards across 41 key performance indicators of front-line product and service.

AEGEAN remains a favorite amongst passengers in southern Europe and continues to perform well in the awards surveys on both regional and global basis”.

AEGEAN has won this award for the seventh time since 2009.
