The Greek navy will open the doors to 30 of Greece’s lighthouses on Sunday, August 21, on the occasion of International Lighthouse Day. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn all about the importance of lighthouses and the role of lighthouse keepers. The lighthouses in the following 30 Greek destinations will be open to the public from 10 am to 7 pm:
