Culinary and Wine Experience

Discover and explore the History and Culture behind the Cretan diet, with the company of two executive hosts. The chef of the Scalarea - Boutari winery will demonstrate and direct you into making 4 different Cretan dishes, and the certified sommelier will share with you his knowledge regarding Wine Making in Crete.

This experience will offer you expertise in making Authentic Cretan Dakos, Handmade Cretan Pasta or Handmade Cretan Pies, a homemade recipe from scratch, and a traditional dessert.

At the end of your experience, you will enjoy the recipes you made with wines of Estate which will pair harmoniously.

Kaliméra Yiannis! We had a fabulous time on Crete and we cannot wait to visit again. The cooking and wine tour was exactly what I was looking for! Our guide was amazing and adorable and the chef made everything very easy to understand and we shared so many laughs. Maria welcomed us into her kitchen and was very accommodating in modifying her recipes to make sure we had gluten free delicacies.
