The tour 

- Pick up from Chania region and head west to the region of Kolymbari where we will visit the BIOLEA  olive oil mill a family-owned company specializing in the artisan production of organic olive oil using, millstones and presses. You will be introduced to the ''art'' of olive oil making, taste some high-quality organic oil, and get answers to all our questions related to olive oil.

- Our hopping experience is going on through the hinterland of the fertile Kolybari region we will next stop at the KARAVITAKIS winery and taste some of the best Cretan wine from local grape varieties. Set in a beautiful location, you will have the chance to relax and enjoy while getting an insight look of the winemaking process.

- We shall continue our visit to the historical Monastery of Gonia dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Your local guide will introduce you to the history of the Monastery and of the Greek Orthodox religion.

- This tour would not be complete without a delicious lunch in a traditional family-run taverna in an “off the beaten path” village.

- At the end of your tour, our mission will be accomplished – you will leave with enjoyable memories and a much better understanding of Cretan culture.
