Small description

The pick-up location is the small and picturesque port of Chora Sfakion. Giorgos will pick you up from Sfakia Port in the morning so that we can go to pick up the nets he will have cast in the evening and start fishing with the rod. 

Along the way he will share with you the secrets of the trade, and what the life of a fisherman is like until you reach the amazing beaches of Sfakia, such as Marmara and Agios Pavlos, where you will be able to enjoy the sun and swim in crystal clear waters. 

When you get hungry, we will cook the fish we caught together and share a delicious meal like old friends. 

 And because nothing in Crete ends just like that, we will finish our meal with local tsikoudia (raki) and fruit.

And of course, you have a second option. If you're dreaming of a sunset boat ride, you can join Giorgos in the afternoon for a shorter excursion to enjoy the variety and showtime colors of the sun while fishing. Please note, no meal is included but you are going to get all the caught fish with you.

- 93.00 Euros per person (for a minimum of 4 people)

- Children up to 5 years old are not allowed

For the night-afternoon session: 41.00 Euros per person (for a minimum of 3 people) (no meal is included but you are going to get all the caught fish with you)

Included

- fishing experience, (first you will see the traditional way of fishing with nets and then you will have the opportunity to fish with a rod yourself)

- swimming at a beach (the choice of beach is based on weather conditions)

- and finally the meal on the boat (the fresh fish we caught are cleaned and cooked on the boat and eaten on the boat). Please note, you can participate in this whole process yourself if you want! The meal includes fish either fish soup (traditional kakavia) with Greek salad or fish in the pan with Greek salad, french fries, wine, and water. At the end, fruits and tsikoudia. The children could have some juice.

Not included

 - All passengers should bring their beach towels.

What should you bring?

Not too much? In Summer you live in your swimwear. But surely you need a sunhat, sunglasses, thin clothing to protect from the sun (daytime) or mosquitoes (evening), sandals and of course your camera. 

Cancellation Policy 

- If you cancel a reservation due to personal reasons up to (not included) 15 days before the reservation date, any paid amount is fully refunded. 
- If you cancel 15 days (incl) or less before the reservation date, NO amount is refunded.

- If weather conditions are too severe, our partner will judge if it is not possible to provide you with the boat trip.
