On a mild sunny day breakfast is served in the courtyard or if you prefer (and on less inclement mornings) indoors, where a tasty preparation (baked melomakarouna, kalitsounia or more local products) for your day is delivered to your table.
The courtyard retains an ancient Turkish well - functioning (but not recommended for a drink of water these days!). This peaceful shaded courtyard is the best place in sunny weather for relaxing, reading and sipping excellent coffee.
There’s no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a plethora of restaurants nearby, Chania town is well known for its delicioius food, in order to make your best choice according your taste. If you’re seeking something typical, get out of the back side of the hotel and there in a cobbled square you will find many ouzeries or mezedopolia (small taverns) serve a lush selection of mezedes.
Chrisostomos is an excellent place if you would like to sample well cooked Cretan food and drink. Starters are great and main dishes are really excellent.
